Highland High School offers enrollment to more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12 annually. It provides various subjects in its curriculum, including algebra, geometry, science, history, geography, foreign languages, business, and health, physical and special education. It encourages students to take part in a range of clubs and activities that include art, chess, dance, hockey, library, chorus and ecology clubs, as well as Saturday scholars, school newspapers, supporting actors, speech team and the Illinois Career Association. The school promotes physical well-being of students by organizing an array of sporting activities that include football, basketball, golf, volleyball, tennis, wrestling, softball, baseball and bowling. Highland High School is located in Highland, Ill.
