Mr. David E. Mears in My opinion is NOT the "Lawyer" you want handling your family's inheritance, (If you Love your Family).
This is my ongoing experience with David E. Mears and the executor of the estate.
Mr. Mears is delaying the final distribution for what ever reason he or the executor can think of. Both are writing checks to each other and the firms they choose to hire. From the remaining inheritance.
After over 2 years and $30,000.00 plus later. Mr. Mears is still invoicing the estate. This is a simple estate to handle and should have been completed within 2 years.
Mr. Mears and the executor are now attempting to file a administrative law judge against SSN for $25,000.00. After being denied reconsideration from Social Security.
This is an unjustified delay tactic. Knowing the person that left the money was a multimillionaire. It’s all in black and white the numbers don’t lie. No one blames him for his SSN mistake. Nor does anyone want to fight SSN except for Mr. Mears, the executor and the firms they choose.
Mr. Mears will support spending $25,000.00 or more of your inheritance if needed, to fight Social Security. This money is not refundable at all. So why anyone even think of pursuing this issue (SSN). When you only owe $25,000.00
It’s my opinion Mr. Mears is an opportunist, and both Mr. Mears and the executor are demonstrating signs of embezzlement. For lack of a better or proper legal definition of this crime.
It's also my opinion the executor of this estate and Mr. Mears are demonstrating sighs of; mental incompetence, fiscal incompetence and criminal behavior. Both refuse to communicate with family members. No meetings and if you show up at Mr. Mears office without an appointment, he will throw you out. For No justified reason at all.
This is a serious moral ethics violation on Mr. Mears part. And taking advantage of a questionable executor to help embezzle other peoples inheritance.
It's my opinion Mr. Mears should refund money wrongfully invoiced. Loose his license and do some jail time for the crime of embezzlement. So that other Lawyers get the message.

Don’t do the Crime if your not Willing to do the Time.

I will continue to update this post so that all can see the outcome.
