Wish I could rate zero stars! Was told my basement remodel would take 3 or 4 weeks. It took 6 1/2 months! Dishonest owner (Wayne Hermansen) will tell you anything you want to hear to get your money. After job was finished, my bathroom ceiling leaked and caused water damage. Have not been able to contact them since. Terrible experience. Way too much to list issues here. AVOID THIS MAN AT ALL COST!!!

It is essential that people defrauded by Wayne Hermansen come together. Please come forward and file online with the attorney general, file a police report and file a compliant with your towns building department. Contact 2192189455 to team up!


We hired Wayne Hermansen of Sterling Construction because the school town of Munster Eads elementary school sent an email promoting Wayne Hermansen of Sterling Construction going on to say how Wayne agreed to give back 10% of any home projects completed in Munster back to the schools and in addition to that give a 10% discount to Munster families if you told them you support Munster schools. Wayne Hermansen was paid a deposit and now he has disappeared. The highland business location is now closed. Wayne with Sterling Construction doesn't answer his phone and he keeps his voicemail full so you can't leave a message.

sterling construction hired me to do a job for them they've neglected to pay me for the job that I performed so very dissatisfied first job last job now I'm going to take them to court I would not recommend this company to anybody all of us that have been defrauded Dewayne need to get together my number is 219-588-7538 so we can hire an attorney to put this guy in jail Wayne if you see this posting you need to contact us so we can remove it and you can pay your bill otherwise I am not going to remove this and what you're doing to people is wrong

Put up fence without getting permit from city. City made me take it down and Wayne at Sterling refuses to refund me any of my money I put down. Id call and text for weeks before he'd get back to me. Avoid this place!!
