Edgewood Middle School, located in Highland Park, Ill., offers education to more than 550 students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, home and industrial arts, physical education, French and Spanish. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include chorus, orchestra, choir, jazz band, student council, newspaper, yearbook, literary journal, and book, arts and guitar clubs. The school provides athletic training to students and organizes various sports events, which includes volleyball, basketball, soccer, cross country and softball competitions.
