Lin Electric was contracted by our contractor for the electrical work associated with our master bathroom project. After the first rough inspection, the project was stopped through no fault of the electrical team.

Unfortunately, when asked for an invoice to date, Lin included fees that were greatly above his initial estimate, and inconsistent with our electrical drawings and the work completed. He charged for work that was not even started (e.g., heated floors, GFI outlets, updated circuits). Also, he double charged materials and permit fees. This amounted to a mid-term bill that was 50% greater than expected!

Although, we tried to work with him, and even offered to pay was he was asking to resolve this quickly, Jozef (the owner), refused to sign a lien waiver, and instead asked to meet him in person, and "do it his way." These were major red flags.

We are still working toward a resolution, and I will be sure to update this post when we do.

At this time, I would never recommend Lin electric. Although his work was passable, his billing procedures are unprofessional and fraudulent. This is consistent with all the reviews I have read after the fact. Had I vetted Lin Electric, instead of the contractor, I would not be in this situation today.
