He is deceitful. I was badgered weekly to go to him. He changed his price at the last minute. He screamed at me on the phone then hung up on me and refused to do my surgery even though I already paid for part of it. This is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. He also did such a bad job on a coworker that she ended up in the ICU and did not even visit her. Take caution before you go to him.

I'm pretty much terrified of everything associated with dentists, and I badly needed an impacted wisdom tooth removed. I wound up having three of my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Braverman a few weeks ago, and it was as easy as something like this could possibly be. Needles are not my favorite, but being awake for the extraction was much less appealing, so I chose to have the IV sedation for the procedure. On the big day, I came in blubbering, and Dr. Braverman and his assistant were so nice about my hysteria. The IV was actually no big deal at all, though I'm sure I made it tough on them. The needle was in on the first try and I remember nothing at all from the procedure, which, in my book, is AWESOME. The pain was manageable without constantly taking prescription medication in three days (as a point of contrast, this was not at all my experience with my first impacted wisdom tooth extraction done by someone else--I was in absolute agony for a week). I developed a dry socket later, and the treatment that Dr. Braverman gave me diminished the pain to a fraction of what it was. I really feel like I got top-of-the-line care here. When I came in for the consultation, Dr. Braverman said his priority was to make everything as comfortable and painless for me as possible, and after having all the work done, I have plenty of reason to believe that is indeed his priority with his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Braverman's office. He's professional, his staff is warm and courteous, and I feel silly for being such a chicken--it was, overall, a breeze.

My 16 year old just had all 4 of her wisdom teeth pulled (two were impacted) by Dr. Braverman. She was treated with such tender care and her surgery went flawlessly. She had zero bruising, zero puffiness and her pain was well-controlled with the prescribed medications. The office is expertly-versed in all things insurance and managed to work out a competitive, transparent deal (we shopped around quite a bit on the the North Shore). I could not be happier with our experience and my daughter is thrilled that she came through it with limited pain and no cosmetic issues. I would recommend this practice highly
