I have searched for a pair of pants for 2-3 days in my size . They were almost perfect.... I took my pants to Hawthorne / Highland Springs and spoke to women that did alterations . I made sure she knew I wanted a cuff in my pants. I know what was said during our conversation. she hemmed my pants and I went to the counter receive my ticket and left. Simple...... not even close. I went to pick up my pants and she has cut my pants to hem them and there is no cuff. I have never had a problem before and had several pants altered. I needed the pants that evening and was shocked that she chopped off the extra material and didn't put a cuff as I had asked. I didn't think I should pay for something I didn't ask for but when I spoke to manager/ owner she was more interested in arguing with me about what was said. I was very fustrated and just wanted my money back but she wanted me to come back in a and give her a chance to look for fabric and sew some type of cuff back on pants....( tacky) through the whole ordeal not one person even apologized????? I will never be back and I hope you beware..... I don't know what else I could have said to ensure I had a cuff in my pants. I have mailed my conplaint to BBB. So I will see if it can be resolved. This manager doesn't have good customer service skills. I was a repeat customer.
