Provided by YP.comSeven Mile Café: Seven Miles Better Than Any Other Breakfast
When Seven Mile Café first opened up in Denton, near The Cupboard, my mother woke
me up early one Sunday morning and dragged me there. At first glance, I did not read Seven
Mile Café. It was a small, homey environment with lots of people. Also, my favorite part, a small
bill. My experience at the Flower Mound location was a bit different.
The food was just as magnificent as the other location; however the atmosphere was not
up to par. The Denton location had a Grandma’s kitchen, comfortably cozy feeling, whereas this
location felt stuffy and almost unwelcoming. Anyone who knows Denton knows that the people
there are full of character. Flower Mound, however, is mostly soccer moms and preps. The
service was moderate, forgivable due to the amount of people. The food was excellent and I
strongly suggest the Nutella Belgian Waffle or the Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes with a latte
and the check was still minimal.
The food was easily the best part about the experience, but if you enjoy comfortable
atmosphere and more down to earth people, choose the Denton location. Those mesh chairs and
tables outside will feel more comfortable than the piercing eyes of the housewife waiting for her
“double decaf non-fat mocha latte, to go.”
