This is the most awful YMCA I have ever been too. The place is unfit and unsafe for children. I have no idea how they pass inspection. The playground is infested with poison ivy in the summer and the children are constantly finding glass in the sandlot. It has weeds and wines all over the perimeter, there was even a tree that had fallen over into the playground sitting there for about a month without removing it which broke the fence (the fence is still broken). There are also rocks right in front of the entrance of the playground when my child has fallen before. If you are looking for a place to bring your children keep looking, you will regret it after you get the tour. Don’t waste your time and money…if anything go the safe YMCA in freehold. It’s further away but your child’s safety is more important.
