Conveniently located right on the Mickelson Trail in Hill City which is the heart of the Black Hills. They have a wide selection of bikes for rent and we were told each season they start with all brand new bikes - so you'll never get a broken down clunker! This also means they sell their bikes at the end of each season, so if you are looking for a good price on a one year old bike, check that out.



The rental prices seem very reasonable. Shuttle prices to various trailheads on Mickelson Trail may seem steep, but you have to consider the time it takes on some of the twisting backroads to get there, and the wear and tear on their shuttle van.



All in all, they are just a pleasure to work with and you can tell they enjoy their business. We had them take us up to the Dumont trailhead. Took just over an hour to get there. The route back is 33 miles, largely downhill or flat, but there is a several mile climb that starts at Mystic. Definitely one of the best rails-to-trails experiences I have had.
