Provided by YP.comI called before I left to get directions. Talked with the butcher to ask if they had pork neck bones because I live in Callahan and the Winn Dixie doesn't carry. He was extremely helpful and nice. Got there he came out to introduce himself and help me to find the neck bones he had just cut up as he stated during my call. Neck bones extremely fresh. Nice cuts not too big not too small. The cashier was very pleasant asked how I would be paying. Not a problem for me because normally I let businesses know I have a debit care but processing as credit. I will go back. I enjoyed my visit. Also bought different chicken parts, and pork. Will provide feedback once I cook since I am using a sous vide cooker. Again the butcher knew his craft.

Provided by YP.comI ordered 2 different meat packs, one was the largest beef pack they had and the other was the pork package along with more additional picks. The steaks in the meat packages were very thin and tough when cooked as well as the pork chops (were extremely thin). Their meat packs are prepackaged so you can't see what you are buying. The chicken that came in this meat pack looked anorexic. I wasn't pleased with the value that I got from this purchase. When I got to the checkout counter the lady asked me very rudely, "How will you be paying for all of this" as if I had no money. Sarcastically, I said I have some roll coins and I think I have a bit of money left on my foodstamp card. Of course I had my debit card to pay for my purchases but why would the lady imply that I had no money if I was putting all of these meats on the checkout counter?? Would I wait for her to ring me all up and say "April fools!?" The meat was nothing to write home about and the lady was extremely rude so I do not think I will be going to use this meat market ever again. We use a lot of meat in this house and it's too bad that the company lost my large quantity purchase business. I think I will check out Geiger's Meat Market in Jacksonville next time as I have heard nothing but good things about them. Eventually I will find a butcher that has good quality meats and make me feel like I got a value to the money I spent. The meats in the grocery store are extremely overpriced and of bad quality. I wonder how much they have to write off on a daily basis? Good luck with your purchases, I wouldn't recommend this place.
Im very sorry you to read such a bad review. Maybe i can clarify a few things. First of all, our chickens are small for a reason. most of our customers prefer a smaller chicken to the extremely large ones sold at the larger supermarkets. It usually means they are more tender also. And as far as not being able to see what your getting in your freezer special, most items are wrapped in freezer paper to help it last longer. And we have never denied a request to get the whole order directly from the fresh case. Lastly, the cashier asking how you were going to pay for it only has to do with the technical machine we have to use for processing credit cards. I'm truely sorry anyone feels they were wronged. I whole heartedly disagree in the statement that our meats are of bad quality and overpriced. We put our all into quality and try to keep our prices as low as we possibly can.
