Founded in 2001, Alton Darby Elementary School is a multiage institution that serves more than 550 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers a variety of school counseling, child care and special education programs. It maintains a parent-teacher organization that provides several fundraising events in partnerships with Target, Labels for Education, Meijer and Market Day. Alton Darby Elementary School also operates a student council and parent resource center. The school s parent resource library offers a collection of books and literature on several topics, such as attention deficit disorder, discipline, divorce, child development, and special and gifted education. Alton Darby Elementary School is governed by the Hilliard City School District, which has over 20 elementary, middle and high schools.
