billing lacks severely, they use an outside billing company

I accidentally hurt myself while trying to check out a flat tire on our van in May. Thinking that it would be better to go to an urgent care for an x-ray would be cheaper than going to an ER, I went here. My insurance covered most it and then my medical reimbursement account paid the rest. Now in September I am receiving collections notices on an amount that has already been paid and I have given them all the information regarding the payment, but they won't even try to find it.

I went to ExpresMed with my 7 yr old daughter who had a deep cut/puncture on her knee and she needed sutures. I explained the nature of the injury, including the puncture which would require extra disinfection. The Dr. (dark male...I wasn't introduced to him to know his name) disregarded my comments and after minimal flushing began suturing the wound. The next day my daughter's wound was visibly infected (2 inch ring of hot redness around the wound) so I took her to Children's Close to Home Urgent Care where their suture specialist informed me of several mistakes with the sutures. 1 - There weren't enough sutures for a cut as long as hers. 2 - The sutures were stitched too far away from the cut, causing a railroad effect. 3 - The stitches were so tight they had cut into the skin causing 4 deep horizontal cuts which will scar as badly as the initial wound. While the staff was pleasant and we were in and out quickly, the poor care we received for a common issue will cause me never to return. I'll drive the extra 20 minutes to a facility that has actual skilled staff.

Went there with my 3yo daughter. She was coughing a lot so figured Id go and check, just in case. donata rechnitzer, a "doctor", looked in my daughter's ear and sad she had an ear infection and also pre bronchitis state. Needless to say, she prescribed antibiotics. It was suspicious cause there was no fever and ears were not bothering my baby. So, I went to the emergency room just to be said that ears are perfectly fine and the cough is just a simple cold. NO ANTIBIOTICS NEDED!!! Do you guys even care that these are little kids you are working with?! Dont go there! Spend more time in the hospital but let professional take care of you!

Now, i'm not in any saying tha...

Now, i'm not in any saying that they were right in doing what they did, but if you have had two "horrible" past experiences, why go back? I would never go back to a place if it was "horrible". I'd find a new place to go to. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, fool me for a third time and that's just ignorant. But no, that's not okay how they treated you, but there's always other alternatives. Find a new place to go. I guess the third time's a charm.

I went to ExpressMed Urgent Ca...

I went to ExpressMed Urgent Care tonight at 7:30 they looked and looked and couldn't find my file where I had been there before. Finally a "doctor" came out and showed me my file. It said "REFUSE TO SEE" She explained that I had written some negative comments about past service and they are a private company and aren't required to see me and that they wanted me to leave. WHAT!!!!! I was in tears in pain. I explained that most businesses take negative feedback and try to improve service and that she could have seen me right then and given me excellent service and I would have commented on that as well. She just stood there all pissy like I was the one in the wrong, like I should have never said anything bad when in fact I had received such horrible service twice before. I even had one "doctor" not look at my rash up close, never touched or came near me, and from across the room told me that I just had a reaction from my cheap jewelry. WHAT! First, I don't wear cheap jewelry and second, that man never came close to find out that I actually had Shingles. This place is horrid. So I went to look for that previous negative review of their location, they have taken any and all negative comments about their place off the web. Liars. They do not provide service to patients, or people in need, they have no customer service skills or care about people. They want to make some money quick and to hell with people and their problems or pain. What hacks. I am now going to make sure everyone hears about their service. I am going to blanket this city with how they operate their private business. I am in such shock to see what we see as a healer in society to be such an evil, evil place. Please do not go to ExpressMed on Hilliard-Rome Road. You will regret it. Plus I think they are a bit incompetent as medical (non)professionals. I have reposted my reviews, I have contacted the BBB, and I have contacted them directly regarding this. Here is what I had to say to her/the company:
