Hillsboro State Bank was chartered in 1903 as Ramona State Bank in a small rural community of the same name located in Northeast Marion County Kansas. The charter and bank were moved to Hillsboro in 1984 with the name changed to Hillsboro State Bank, located in Hillsboro, Kansas, a Marion County community of 3100 citizens, 53 miles North-Northeast of Wichita. Over the years, Hillsboro State Bank has focused on serving the financial needs of our community. We feel uniquely qualified to meet the challenges of our local residents and businesses, because as a locally owned community bank, we face the same challenges each day ourselves.
