Provided by YPmobileMy boyfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary and we loved it. Great food, great service, and a nice atmosphere. They do get busy so if you show up on one of those days expect to have some delays, that is just common sense.

Provided by YPmobileFriday evening, May the 8th, around 6-Ish my fiancé and I visited this restaurant for the first time. We were given our menus and seated in a corner. It was so warm that my fiancé had beads of sweat on his forehead. It took 10 minutes for our waiter to come to us. He immediately asked if we were ready to make our order. My fiancé replied, "No... we would like a drink and chips and salsa." He took our drink orders which was a Margarita and a Corona. He returns with drinks (another 10 minutes later) and says, "I'll have your chips and salsa to you in a bit". He then returns with chips, no salsa, while we watch people that were waiting to be seated behind us being served chips and salsa. He brings the salsa several minutes later and again asks if we are ready to order. By this time we've already debated on leaving. After another 10-15 minutes we decide we will finish our drinks, pay our tab and proceed to our favorite Mexican restaurant "La Casona" in High Ridge where we know service and food will be exactly what should be expected (where it was excellent enough, as always, that we left after it closed and spent another $90 on dinner and drinks). We had to get a different waiter to get our bill because it didn't appear ours had plans to return anytime soon. The total for our two drinks was $12.39. We did not leave a tip as one was most definitely not deserved. Now all weekend this payment showed $12.39 as "pending" on my bank app as usual from a restaurant and when it goes through is normally when you can see a tip (which again, one was not left). Today, when I checked my bank app, to my surprise this is what I saw. $22.39 to Los Portales in Hillsboro. Soooo.... Our waiter took it upon himself to give himself almost a 100% tip on my Visa. It's $10, sure but it's the point. I've never in my life had this kind of shady in an establishment like this happen. It's wrong and all I'm asking is that it is made right...if anything I want my $10 back. My fiancé has made 5 phone calls, left messages for owner/managers, suppose to have gotten a call back and as of thus far, nothing other than the run around. Pathetic. I totally feel like we should be paying cash everywhere we go rather than put our trust in shady people with our debit card information.
