We currently employ more than 340 people and benefit from the services of 70 community volunteers. Our medical staff includes 60 physicians - 98% of whom are board certified - and represents 23 specialties and subspecialties. While we are a community-centered hospital, we are also known for our technology and sophisticated healthcare services. Our service area includes over 65,000 residents from Highland County and surrounding counties.

Provided by YP.comHad bad case of covid , could not stand or eat,was at highland district hospital in bed for 8 days,the nurses,where great ,stayed on top of it all time where in and out taking the very best of care for me,and Dr karnes I want to thank you for all your services,and the other doctors I see there i would recommend highland district hospital to any one and all are very nice and polite thank you all again

Provided by YP.comWhy can't we as Americans depend on are county and state to provide us with good hospitals. Why do we here in Hillsboro allow there to be a Hospital that is so terrible? We deserve better. Thanks Highland District Hospital for being good enough to only get one star.

Provided by YPmobileWorst er around there was no one in the waiting room yet still waiting to be seen. It is 2pm been waiting for 3 hrs finally got in a room still waiting on doctor. Wish we had a hospital we could count on.
