We visited for the first time on Saturday afternoon after the farmers market and we surprised and delighted by this great little Japanese restaurant in downtown. We were greeted with a complimentary bowl of miso soup and a small salad with a tasty garlic peanut dressing before ordering. We got 4 different kinds of rolls and it was the best sushi we have ever had hands down. The fish tasted very fresh and the salmon was a beautiful deep color. This of course comes at a premium price (specialty rolls are $16 for 8 pieces, non specialty rolls ranged from $5-$12) but with the miso and salad we could have ordered one less roll to save money and not had leftovers.



We ate outside and enjoyed the tranquil garden setting with fountains. We even saw a hummingbird and then a sparrow stop by to drink from the fountain and take little baths.



We will absolutely be returning with our high end sushi loving friends or for future date nights.
