I don't usually write reviews, but when I read the earlier review here, I felt compelled to level the playing field. I have given Joe at least 25 pairs of shoes to do virtually anything one could do to shoes and in every instance his work brought them back to virtually new, no matter the color, the skin, or the surgery needed. He has similarly attended to leather traveling cases and an alligator attache; even mended the snakeskin seat of my motorcycle.



If you are familiar with the repair shops in Hightstown, or Skillman in the Montgomery Mall, you will find work here far superior to the others. The work rivals the best in Manhattan and friends regularly ship in work in from NY via UPS to take advantage of the skill--and the prices!.



This is old school work in a world where those skills are becoming increasingly hard to find.
