Today I met very competent mechanics and office mgr. They fixed a problem with my brakes that another (non-sts) shop caused when installing new brakes a few months ago.

I thought I was looking at an expensive repair for front end or muffler pipes causing a very noisy clanging sound when I hit bumps. He initially advised me to go

back to the previous local shop and get them to fix what is probably a brake problem. They might have honored their poor work but I decided not to throw any more money or even if free I didn’t want them to touch my car. The STS mechanic said he’d look at the problem and see if his analysis was correct and the extent of repairs. He came back shortly

and said the repair was trivial. Again , I appreciate the honesty and skill of the people at this location which is the reason for this letter.

The mechanic ( didn’t get the names) found out it was just a small brace on 1 brake in the front and problem solved at no charge.
