Provided by YP.comI used to work there, and I would NEVER want to be a patient. It's a bunch of angry state employees who can't be fired no matter what they do, and they all hate each other. Between the gossip, abusing the sick leave policy, and all the mistakes they make I'm amazed that they get any work done at all. It was the worst job I've ever had in my life, and I pity anyone who is unfortunate enough to have to be a patient there.

Provided by YP.comI was taken by ambulance from a cruise ship because of shortness of breath and acute
bronchitis. After spending several hours in the ER (which is common anywhere), I was taken
to a regular room sometime around 6:00 p.m. My double room was attended by a student
nurse; upon arrival at my room, I asked for a glass of ice water. For 3-1/2 hours I continued
to ask for water - and did not receive it until becoming as irate and insistent as I was able to
be in my medical condition.
At that point, I was visited for the first time by the nurse supervising the student and told that my
behavior was unacceptable and that they would be happy to cooperate if I would only cooperate
with them.
This occurred during my first evening there; frankly, the next four days were not much of an
improvement. My utmost concern was the lack of sanitation - I will not go into detail, but
it was not only lack of cleanliness, but even involved human waste. I truly believe that
I was in much more danger there than if I had remained on the ship being attended by the
ship doctor.
