We will never order from this company again!!!! Very unreliable!



Our experience with this company has been very disappointing. We purchased two beds here that were supposed to take 4-6 weeks to deliver. We ordered one first, and after having been assured several times that the second bed could arrive at the same time as the first one, we order the second bed. After 10 weeks of not having heard anything, we went to enquire about the state of the delivery. We were told that they would call the company and then call us back. They never did. We went again 3 days later, and were ready to cancel our order and buy a bed close by. This lead to slightly more effort put in by the staff, and they promised us that the beds would be send by special delivery to us by monday (This was Thursday). This was confirmed to us by a phone call on Friday evening. When Monday came, we were expecting our delivery. However, we heard nothing from the Discount furniture. At around lunch time we gave them a call to enquire about the delivery. Again the staff had no idea what the issue was, but promised to call the shipping company. They called us back 4 hours later, to tell us that the beds will NOT arrive today, despire having been promised that it will, but instead will come Thursday, as it was Christmas Day on Wednesday. On Thursday, finally one of the beds arrived, though damaged. In addition, there was no expanation as to where the other bed, the one we ordered first was. I called the store and the person in charge was busy, but promised me that she would call me back, though she never did.



One could argue that the late delivery was not the fault of Furniture Discount, but the staff dealt with the situation in a very unreliable manner, often not calling back, not putting in any effort to solve the situation or taking any initiative. The icing on the cake was the borderline arrogant behaviour of the staff who were with one exception not apologetic at all and made it very clear that they couldn't care less whether our problem was solved or not.



If you buy something directly from the store, maybe go ahead but if you ever plan to order anything beware!
