Provided by YP.comWe have used their services for our dogs over the last couple of years without any issues. The staff is friendly and competent. Only complaint is one never knows which Vet in the practice your pet will be seen by as it varies from visit to visit. Our 8 year old Flat Coated Retriever recently had surgery and the followup support was very professional. We even received a call from Dr. Hale with updates on the lab reports while we were out of town. He provided a very through explanation of the test results and answered all our questions. Overall, very pleased with the services offered. Not as good as our previous Vet, who walks on water, but very acceptable. Highly recommended as well as having pet insurance to avoid the drama of the previously poster.

Provided by YP.comI would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. When my cat became extremely ill, I took him to my regular vet, she did exams and lab work and multiple xrays, then referred me to an internal medicine specialist with an ultrasound machine at Hinesburg Animal Hospital. I rushed him over there. The diagnosis was pancreatitis, and I was led to believe that his only hope for survival was to leave him overnight there so he could get IV fluids and medicine all night. I left him there and spent a worried night without him. The next morning the specialist called and told me he had pulled out the IV in the night so it didn't make sense to keep him there longer, and I should nurse him back to health at home. I went to pick him up. Every penny I had in the world amounted to $850, and $450 of that I had paid to my primary vet the day before. With only $400 left to my name, the Hinesburg Animal Hospital told me I'd have to pay $620 or they wouldn't release my cat. I explained that I only had $400 and begged them to take that, and promised to pay the balance in a few days when I would get paid again. Instantly they changed from treating me like a valued pet owner to treating me like a deadbeat criminal. They took the $400, but refused to release my cat until I came up with the remaining $220, even though I had taken one of my cats there before and had paid in full with no problems. Apparently they were going to hold my cat hostage until I got paid again and charge me $120 a night until then for the "privilege." Finally they forced me to apply for a credit card (for which I'm sure they get some kind of kickback) and use that to carry the balance. Then, when I got home, they phoned to tell me they had forgotten to add $60 in charges to my bill and would be sending me a bill in the mail. So now I still have a very sick kitty, and the humiliation of having been treated like a piece of sh*t while I was at my emotional lowest. I will never take my animals here again, nor will I recommend this hospital to anyone. I don't want anyone else to experience what I went through.
