Today was my first time visiting Bryan Medical Assoc. I moved down here from Philadelphia a few months ago. I've always been in good health, but the other day i devoloped a cold sore that I wanted to get looked at. I was greeted at the front desk by a very nice man. After that I felt as though I was being treated as a bother. The first girl who took my information was very cold and impersonable. She did not take her eyes off of the computer screen once. When I arrived the waiting room was empty. After she put my information through I sat in the exam room for over 30 minutes before the doctor came to see me. I believe I was seen by Adewunmi Olanrewaju Sobowale. I am unsure of his name because he never introduced himself, never reached out to shake my hand or anything. On top of all of that, his english was so broken I could barely understand him the very few times he did speak. I asked very few questions, but every time I did I was given a 1 word answer, followed by him rolling his eyes at me. If I made any sort of statement he cut me off mid sentance with a "yeah, yeah, yeah". Once again never taking his eyes off of the computer screen. I was in there for a cold sore, how much info do you need to read about me? He said he was going to call me in a script to help treat my cold sore. I thanked him, and got no response. On my way out I asked if he knew when the prescription might be ready. He responded by saying "it will be ready when it is ready". I left there feeling very embarrassed and like I was interrupting him from something. I did not feel as though I was given the proper treatment that I deserved considering I walked in there with a positive upbeat additude. I will NEVER return to this office. Nor do I recommend that anybody else go there, unless you are a cold person who does not like to talk either. Once again, I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy. The staff and doctors were cold hearted and unapproachable.
