Georgia Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center is a general and surgical dermatology practice comprised of offices throughout Georgia with locations including Dublin, Warner Robins, Macon, Conyers, Milledgeville, Thomaston, Forsyth, Tifton, Americus, Cordele, Douglas, Statesboro, Augusta and coastal offices in Savannah, Richmond Hill, Brunswick, Jesup, Blackshear, Waycross, and Hinesville. The organization is well established and well known having served in Georgia for over forty years. We specialize in the treatment of all types of skin disorders and the removal of skin cancer. Mohs surgery is performed by our Mohs surgeons in the Dublin, Warner Robins, Conyers, Augusta, Tifton, Hinesville, and Brunswick offices. We welcome new patients and referrals, and we accept most insurance plans. Our practice also has an in-house pathology lab located in Savannah that services our locations as well as several other practices in the area. Laboratory services include evaluation of skin biopsies and excisions, slide preparation and immunohistochemical staining.

I was recently seen by Dr. Matthew Lucas. Though the appointment went well overall, I did feel a little rushed when I asked questions. This was my first time at a dermatologist and I did have concerns about my problems as well with the treatment that was prescribed. I understand they are are trying to see patients in a timely manner but I also think our concerns should be addressed fully.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sharkey for over 15 years. He is hands down the best dermatologist around. He has such a kind heart and a bedside manner that every one desires from a doctor. He has done the Mohs skin cancer surgery on me and my husband several times. This assures the cancer is all removed in office. I have had great results with no scarring or complications . I would highly recommend this group to anyone! They are the best in Hinesville.

This practice has been a part of the Hinesville community for about 20 years. That in itself speaks volumes. As an employee of this practice for 3 years, I can say that these providers really do care about their patients. Our Hineville office offers Mohs skin cancer surgery, allowing certain skin cancers to be removed and evaluated in the office while the patient waits. Our surgeons repair the surgery defects as well. We treat skin issues as simple as acne as well as complicated skin disorders. The mid-level providers (PA/NP) treat patients with the same confidence and skill as our doctors. I am also a patient. I trust my care and my families care to anyone of these providers.
