It is illegal to segregate service dog handlers from the rest of the public because they have a working K9 with them by law. It is the same as segregating someone for race, color, sex, religion, etc. This is part of the Americans with disabilities Act look it up on the ADA laws. This was done to me today. When I enquired about my seating arrangement, not one or two came but three, and which I was told I may choose with a sweeping hand motion over the empty tables any one I would like to choose pointing towards the unused area but not towards the rest of the population, I had complained that section was empty and cold, I was also offered a sweater from one of the wait staff, I was also wearing my own sweater. I was not offered a table within the area with the rest of the customers, the path to them was blocked by all the staff so no one could hear or witness my objections. My service dog is a German Shepherd who is highly trained and has been my partner for 7 years assisting me for medical alert, manual wheelchair mobility assist, balance assist, and other physical tasks. He remained silent under the table clean and well behaved as always throughout the visit. I video taped my seating area and the situation for documentation.

Don't go to IHOP unless you like overcooked food served with extra protein in the form of flies. When I complained my plate was removed and I was informed my food would be recooked. I wasn't even offered the option to have the meal taken off my bill. 30 minutes later I'm finally brought a new plate of food in a to-go box. Management refused to show his or her face. After such poor service I emailed corporate who also brushed me off. Don't go to IHOP unless you don't care about what you are being served and like poor service.

We have been to this IHOP several times so this is not based on one bad experience. First off, when you walk in the door, the first thing that hits you is the smell....like an old musty dishrag. Obvious that the tables are wiped down with a rag that has not been cleaned. That in itself takes away my appetite, Second thing is the wait to be noticed, much less seated. Staff is at times overly friendly - wanting to talk, ask questions about our tattoos, etc. That may be ok for some people but I prefer to come in, eat and leave..I am not a chatty person. Food tastes ok but is a bit overpriced. Really hoping the people see this and do something about the smell...in the event we go back one day.

The staff is always friendly here but the interior never seems really clean, the food is not very fresh and usually not cooked how you ordered it (apparently the chef thinks eggs over medium well means the white are still clear and middle is still liquid?) Really needs some new management here.
