This is the worst excuse for a...

This is the worst excuse for an immediate care center that I've ever seen. It was after hours & my 76 year old father was in tremendous pain & couldn't walk due to a severe UTI. He had been to this location once before in 2010 & I thought we would try it again. His 2010 experience was not good as he had to wait 3 hours but I convinced him that this time the wait would be shorter than if we tried to go to the emergency room at the hospital. When I got there, I had to fill out all of his paperwork again even though he had been there in 2010. I understand that they might need a new copy of his driver's license & medical cards; but no, I had to fill out everything again including his address & such & he had not moved. Then I handed the paperwork back to the girl with a copy of his medical cards & where it had asked for me to fill in the insurance information, I wrote "see card" as they had already told me that they needed his card to scan in. She handed it back saying that I had to fill it in completely....if that's the case, then why do they need a copy of his card if I have to write everything out. At any rate, I did as instructed. There were 2 other people in the waiting room. We waited for 1 hour before being called back. Then it was another 45 minutes before we saw the doctor. Now if the waiting room was full, I might could understand it, but really....2 people....that's ridiculous! Immediate certainly should not be in the name of this place! So, we finally see the doctor, get our prescriptions, then go on our merry way. Now, mind you, my father is in tremendous pain this entire time to the point of tears!

Two days later my father had blood in his urine so I contacted his regular urologist as it's during regular business hours. The nurse needs the report from this place so that she can have his regular doctor review it. I stop by in person to pick it up as I figure I'll have better luck in person than trying to phone them. Now, when I took my father in 2 days earlier, I filled out all of his paperwork and both myself and my husband are listed on the HIPPA form as being able to access his medical information. They will not release the information to me as the office manager, Dahlia Polk, says that I have to have the medical power of attorney. I explained that I was listed on the HIPPA form as a person okay to release the medical information to. She said that the HIPPA form was only good if I was the parent. So my question is, why are all the adults filling out such a form if they are of no use? It clearly states on the form that it is okay to give this info to me so why did we fill out this form???? So, they proceeded to give me a form that my father had to sign, and had to be faxed to his urologist and his urologist had to fax back to them. So, we did all of this as requested and after 20 minutes, the nurse from the urologist office called & was told that it would take 2 days before she could get this information. Now, before I was told that I couldn't have this paperwork, one of the office clerks had printed it and handed it to me so I know that they are able access this in less than 60 seconds....so why 2 days before they can fax it to the doctor? This place is a VERY poor excuse for a medical facility. They have only 1 good thing going for them and it's a nurse named Kim....after that, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!

Everything went as smooth as I thought they should. Staff and Doctor were very courteous and was pleased with everyone. The time from walking in to walking out was 2 hours.

We visited this clinic on October 22nd 2016. Our doctor was not available and most of the other clinics were closed. The building was easy to find and it looked nice on the outside and clean on the inside. The staff at the front desk were helpful. Our problems started when we met the doctor. From the minute he walked into the room to the minute he walked out Dr. Kerry Nagel he was rude pretentious and condescending. no bedside manner whatsoever. I've never left a review on Yelp good or bad, I joined Yelp just to tell people about this experience. We won't be back.

If you dont want to wait more ...

If you dont want to wait more than 3 hours dont go to this place. The Lady in the front office with white hair is very rude. After taking my daughter to be seen and filling out more forms when we had previously been there before and paying before being seen by the Doctor we waited and waited then went into one room and waited and then another room and waited. Finally the doctor arrived. Well he said maybe streep or the flu. So he said incase it was streep he would prescribe antobiotics which I agreed. The biggest thing was I was told to go out into the waiting room and wait on the prescrition by this very rude white headed Lady and I saw everyones prescription being passed out the window to them so I approached her and asked her if I was getting one or if I just misunderstood the Doctor and said I have a hearing problem so I wasnt sure. She said very rudely he is working on it. So I continued to wait for 30 more minutes until I asked someone else at the counter that looked like he might want to help and he told me that your was being faxed to the pharmacy. Ok I said I wished yall would have told me this. I then left to go to the pharmacy and was told they had the fax for the antibiotics but they told them not to fill it for two more hours. Now why would they do that unless they just wanted to make me wait longer. I was not rude to them. .My daughter did not have a streep test done. So that cant be the reason for telling them to wait before they fill it. I will never take another one of my kids or anyone else there including myself if we are sick. Very unprofessional place and the office staff is very rude.
