I made an appointment and showed up early. 15 minutes AFTER my appointment time they worked someone in who was in the store and had some questions for the Dr. Are you kidding me?! I made an appointment because I had some questions for the Dr!
After the exam they walk you over to the store so you can put your contacts in, BUT FIRST you stop at the desk (blind) to pay! When I expressed I was starting to feel sick & dizzy because everything was blurry and I couldn't see, I was told I could bring it up to the Dr., So I did! I finally got out an hour & 15 minutes later!

Awful experience. Was told my prescription would fit in the size lenses I picked out. I paid and prescription was wrong. After many visits for another exam, adjustments I was told they could not do anything else for me. I asked to speak to the owner and got a refusal. I asked for a written statement from the owner stating why they would not honor their guarantee ( we will work with you until you are happy) and got a refusal. Glasses are still not right. No refunds of course. They will say anything to get your money. Outright fraud.$640.00 spent. I only gave 1 star because there was no option to give a negative star rating

Had a fantastic experience at the Hixson Eyear Optical. My mothers glasses were broke and the Shallowford Road location of Eyear Optical refused to help at all without a new prescription ... in fact, they were very rude. The Hixson location fixed them for FREE! Very nice people.

My son and I both got new glasses here (mine were free) and we are both happy with them. We did the eye exam, picked out our glasses, went to eat lunch then came back and picked up our glasses. No issues at all. The only suggestion I would have is I wish when picking out your second pair you could choose from any that are equal or lesser value instead of having to pick from a certain group that are designated as the free ones. I mean I'm happy with the ones I got but it would have been nice having more of a selection. I would definitely recommend them though.

ordering glasses

I took my daughter to get her eyes checked because they have the one hour. the eye exam went good. the lady was helpful in pickkng out they frames....we also went because you get a free pair and with kids thats aways a bood thing...well we get it all ordered and totaled up. 649.90 later we are informed we could not do the one hour.... so nos we have to wait 2 weeks... the the next day I get a phone call andbecause we have eye med ins we will not get the free pair unless we want to pay fir them.....well if I pay for them then they would not be free. needless to say. I will never go back. I could have gone back to wal mart and botten 3 pair of glasses cheapers then I got that one pair and still would get them back sooner....... that to me is fraud. ...they need to tell you this up front not after you pay all this money and send them off and then wait til the next day to call you...I will never reamed them to anyone.....and I have a whole facebook page on where they have done this too lots and lots of people so beware
