I was given an appointment to get tires and an alignment. I was there 10 minutes early and was told i had to wait until a lane open up. 90 minutes later my car was in and in the air. 45 minutes later they STARTED. They took my old tires off and I can see my rims sitting on the floor next to the machine with nobody doing anything to them. Apparently, the tires I chose were not in stock and they were waiting for them to come from another location. They could have told me this, but they didn't. I probably would have bought a different , more expensive tire. Needless to say,after 5 hours, the car was done. On the way home, I felt a vibration that wasn't there before. They could have had a customer for life all they had to do is be honest with their appointments and they're stock of tires. Trying to be sneaky and deceitful it is not a way to start a customer relationship.

I had a horrible experience, first they said they couldn't find my coolant leak, I could see a clear trail down to my motor mount and all across my firewall, they decided just to charge me for something and said I needed a coolant flush which I was told later was a complete waste of money and actually probably made the problem worse, if any calcified coolant was blocking the leak it was now flushed, great thank you for ripping me off. We took it back with the problem no offer of anything for the fact their fix did not correct anything and was unnecessary. They came back with they needed to inject dies, they overflowed everything with the dies and 3 flushes later it has now killed my heater core and brand new thermostats. I was offered no compensation, this visit has cost me over hundreds of dollars to fix, I will never return to another pep boys again, lost a customer for life and will continue to warn friends, family, and anyone who mentions their name.

I met an honest mechanic today....yes, you read that correctly, an honest mechanic. Pep Boys in hixson examined my vehicle and came up with a plan of care that I could financially live with, And, with no add-ons that I really didnt need (because i am female). I will definitley return to them for my automotive repairs. The only disappointment was I didnt get to see the bobble heads...lol

I was on my way through chattanooga and needed my oil changed, so i stopped off at pepboys, i was in and out in around 30 minutes. I am very satisfied with the service and professionalism of the staff there.
