Warm and welcoming atmosphere, willing to help you are soon as you walk in the door, excellent customer service, a great shooting range, with new range officers who know safety and how to shoot a gun. Wide selection of firearms, not just those you see on TV. Shooter's Supply has become my go-to gun store in the Chattanooga/Hixson area! New ownership is already making changes, new construction show a larger show room with many more guns. You can get your ammo and shoot it downstairs with no worries of weather issues. Expect great improvements in this business in the new future.

Everyone is so accommodating and friendly, and have really been happy to educate me and inform my purchases. I am very happy with everything I've bought here and am preparing to buy my next gun very soon!

The building must be possessed because the new owner is just like the previous owner. Like another reviewer commented – the culture is terrible. Customer service is hit or miss. The limited selection is ok if you need something, chances are you’ll have to order anything specific. If you’re going to the range – do not park in front of the store or you’ll be told to move. The range is dark, the air smells odd, and it feels like a sauna in the summer despite them saying it’s fully climate controlled. Don’t bother with the laser range, the guns don’t always work. If you have a problem with anything, keep it to yourself.

"Gunsmith" is terrible! Culture in this shop is awful! Oct 2017 I brought in a bolt action rifle for the gunsmith to replace the barrel. He stated 3 weeks since he was so busy. Long story short...6.5 months later he still has not even started! Never, not once, did he ever call me to inform of the delays. At the 5 month mark I visited the shop to complain to the shop owner and he raised his voice in aggravation at me as he defended this guy. Today (6.5 months later) I pickup up my rifle and parts. After waiting 45 minutes in the shop he delivered what parts he could find...I am missing 2 components...he offered to order for me...but based on this experience I declined. Not a single time during this entire 6.5 month ordeal did anyone in the shop, including the owner, apologize, offer kind words, or even try to be nice. This is not the way to conduct business. I will never return to this shop and warn others of visiting this shop...particularly the "gunsmith".

This now has new owners and is a very inviting place to go. Larry and his daughter Stephanie are doing a great job creating a welcoming atmosphere. Nice indoor range with plenty of lanes. They also have a Laser range that is awesome. I am now a member of their range.
