When one of the large dogs started losing weight and got very weak there was no way that I was going to put her through the stress and discomfort of going and sitting in the vets office. A friend recommended Dr. Gussack, so I called. I was surprised when she personally returned my phone call and expressed her sincere concern for our dog. She came to our house the very next day. She won my heart, my respect, and my loyalty when, before she examined my obviously dying dog, she got down on the ground, in our muddy backyard and she hugged and loved on my sweet dog. She confirmed what we already (subconsciously) knew, our girl had advanced cancer. Dr. Gussack offered to refer us to a canine oncologist and said she didn't want to draw any blood work because the oncologist would do the same thing and it would cause un-needed, painful stress to our girl. She also offered other treatment options that would allow our girl to be comfortable and stay at home with her family. When we said we didn't want to put her through treatments that wouldn't prolong her life, Dr. Gussack respectfully supported our decision. After the passing of our dog, she continued to check on us as a family and make sure we were all doing ok. Over the past years, she's become part of the family. I will never take my dogs to anyone else!

Dr. Gussack was such a blessing when we had a very sick, dying dog. My husband and I have dogs that are truly our children. They are not pets; they are family. We had always taken our two very large (120+lbs) and one small dogs to a local vet and never had a bad experience.

Surprisingly affordable - about the cost of an office visit, but very reasonable ... particularly when you consider the saved gas and trouble of cleaning puppy puke out of our car. Two thumbs up!

Fabulous service - and I'm thrilled that they have a great vet who offers it. My husband and I have a large (75-pound) puppy who gets apocalyptically car-sick, so the idea of someone coming to us basically made our day.

Dr. Alison Gussack with Vet2Go Housecalls is absolutely wonderful! She certainly knows all about animals and their ailments. I have an elderly dog and have trouble getting her to the vet so I simply call Dr. Gussack and she comes to my house, usually the same day I call. I was really shocked at how reasonable her prices are! She is so knowledgeable, caring and explains everything to me in language I can understand. I am so glad she started this service.

Last week, my seven year-old cats were so stressed by going to the vet, they couldn't fight a parasite they had been harboring for years and almost died. Having Dr. Gussack come to the house literally saved their lives. I am forever indebted to her and my furry babies alive and well. They are my whole life and I almost lost them. My gratitude cannot be expressed.

Dr. Gussack is an amazing vet! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable but amazing with our pets on every visit. Friendly, approachable and easy going I would recommend her all day long. It is wonderful to have her come to our home whether it is for an annual check up or an emergency. We don't know what we would do without her!! Neither would our pets! :-)

Allison is wonderful! I was so impressed. My babies took right to her and not only were they comfortable with her, I was too. My Miniature Schnauzer had 4 day old pups and was perfectly at ease with Allison. She was able to check her and the pups with no stress caused. She docked tails and removed dew claws with speed, gentleness and accuracy. Vet2go has become our new one and only vet. Her rates are better than anywhere in Chattanooga. The service she provided was so much more than expected. Thank you so much!
