River Forest Junior/Senior High School maintains a variety of academic departments, such as English, math, science, family and consumer sciences, social studies, and health and physical education. In addition, it conducts classes in art, band, choir, journalism, Spanish, French, computer applications, fine arts, and technology and business education. River Forest Junior/Senior High School, opened in 1958, is accredited by the North Central Association and the Indiana Department of Education. The school provides coaching and training in a variety of athletic activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, and track and field. Located in Hobart, Ind., River Forest Junior/Senior High School serves students in grades 7 through 12 and is a part of the River Forest Community School Corporation.
