I try not to eat a lot of fried food because it's not the healthy choice, but you have to make exceptions when you travel to the south! My husband had the big platter of local catfish and he had a huge pile! Not greasy and golden brown. I had fried scallops and they were good, but I wished I had chosen the shrimp because they looked large and good at the next table. We got really tasty hush puppies on the side. We also tried the alligator bites as an appetizer since we'd never had it before. I was pleasantly surprised, though felt a little sad about it! I like gators in the wild.

Our waitress was very quick and efficient. The place was busy but well run. This is a casual place with the food being served mostly in plastic baskets. I would go back again for my yearly fried food fix! There Facebook page has great picture of all the food and it worth checking out. =D
