Fairview Elementary School, established in 1957, teaches more than 500 students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The school has a staff of certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes psychologists, physical education instructors, media specialists, special service teachers, bilingual resource assistants, social workers, custodians, and speech, physical, language and occupational therapists. Fairview Elementary School maintains a variety of school organizations, such as a band, orchestra, newspaper club and safety patrol group. It also organizes several after-school activities, including Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, homework club and chorus. The school has a parent-teacher association that provides planning and implementation of various fundraising activities for the benefit of the school. Fairview Elementary School is a part of School District 54 and is located in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
