Founded in 1963, Sun Valley Indian School provides education programs for children in elementary and junior grades. The school s college-preparatory program allows students to participate in a variety of foundational classes, such as science, literature, math, English, physical education, Bible studies, history and art. Classes in computer applications and music are also offered. Sun Valley Indian School is a nonprofit corporation that focuses on incorporating Christian values and academics in students through the integration of traditional and modern teaching methods. The school, located in Sun Valley, Ariz., conducts a variety of special educational, cultural, and health and safety programs throughout the year.
