I'm never planning on returning to this store. I went there a few years ago to find comfortable walking shoes. They are very out of the way for me and have fairly limited store hours which I found out when I managed to make it there and they (very nicely) informed me they didn't want to help me find shoes because it was too close to closing time, I would have never returned except for the unfortunate fact that my husband had purchased a gift certificate for me from the store. So a few weeks later when I was in that part of town I tried again. I was greeted by friendly staff. However, I discovered that they didn't have a very good selection of wide shoes, so there were not very many shoes to choose from that would fit. When I tried on the shoes I noticed that my heels slid up and down in the shoes, they assured me that that was what was supposed to happen, more natural foot movement or something like that. It was an odd, annoying feeling, but they assured me I would get used to it. After trying on shoes I would have left without buying any if it wasn't for the gift certificate. I found a pair of shoes that seemed to fit pretty well, seemed to be reasonably comfortable while walking around in the store, and were tolerable looking. They were Dansko shoes and the sales ladies assured me that they are very comfortable shoes and they know a lot of people who love that brand of shoes and have them in every color because they are so comfortable. The next time I wore the shoes I discovered that the longer I wear the shoes the more my feet hurt. I tried them a few times and it didn't get better. I'm pretty frustrated because I wasted over $100 dollars and I still don't have a pair of comfortable shoes. I tried them again today since the weather is getting colder and they would be warmer than my sandals (that are comfortable), I thought they might work since I was going to be at a conference where I would be sitting a lot, now my feet are sore and hurting. I tried putting inserts in the shoes, that didn't work because there is no room for them. I even checked with a cobbler to see if there was something he could do and he said no.

I'm so thrilled to find this wonderful shoe store. Since we moved to Utah I have had a hard time finding a store that sells wide shoes, especially that accommodate by orthotics. Emily was so kind to bring me lots of shoes to try on and I ended up with two darling pairs of shoes!

I've driven by this store for over a year wondering if I should stop. Today I did. My feet hurt constantly and so I was hoping they could help me. I walked in and was greeted immediately by Bethany. I told her what I was looking for and she was so helpful in getting me the right shoe. She even helped me with the sites I was currently walking in. Who does that? This is the place I will be buying my shoes from now on. No more shoe store where I help myself. These people are knowledgeable and very helpful.

Give yourself at least two hours for a visit to this amazing store. Very knowledgeable owner and employees. Most of the employees have been there since it opened. Excellent one on one service. Can help with any concern you have – high arches, bunions, corns, and wide feet. Customize ever shoe to what you need. I have never had such a comfortable pair of shoes. Will bring out dozens of different shoes for you to try. You can also get an insert molded to your foot to use with any shoes. Won’t shop anywhere else again.

Chandlers has a great selection of good brands. There are a lot of wide widths and the employees are always so helpful. I would recommend them to anyone needing good shoes!
