These people exploited me big time instead of treating me for believing in them and not being skeptical in the beginning with my problem. Based on what they "verbally" told me pre-op, I didn't feel I had to be skeptical. "There's risk in this surgery. I want you to know that, but in your case very minimal. You are a prime candidate to sail right through". I acted in an impulsive manner based on what they "verbally" told me pre-op which they took full advantage of, and made me their guinea pig. They subjected me to outdated, and outmoded elective eye surgery which they "verbally" led me to believe was the preferred treatment of choice for my original problem. They hurt me real bad (a lifetime of hurt), and then they covered it all up with the help of their family alma mater.

I will never be able to get over what this eye care facility did to me. They made sure of it because of the deplorable care I received under them. They reduced me to being nothing more a silent victim. They're very good at it when needed. What hurts the most is knowing how little they thought of me as a person for believing and trusting them with my problem. I meant nothing to them as a person. They knew better than to do what they did to me, but they went ahead and did it anyways. All wrapped up in their needs at the time instead of my needs as a patient. They were overconfident, under-qualified, and oblivious to risk concerning the surgery they did on me. Good doctors always minimize risk, and they always know their limitations. I was painfully naïve with my problem, and I paid the ultimate price for it which resulted in the removal of my eye after years of repeat surgeries all over the USA trying to salvage something from the deplorable result of their initial eye surgery. They structurally wiped my eye out forever with their barbaric surgery. I believe my eye ruptured and hemorrhaged during the surgery, and was never told about it.

If the surgery they did on me would have worked, their name would be in medical journals. They always "publicly" profess to be such good Christians, but I know better the hard way. When things don't go as advertised and planned, that's when true colors show. They sure know how to put on a good show, but that's all it is people. There's no level these people or should I say sociopaths won't stoop too in order to keep their "credibility" intact.

Always get a second and even a third opinion before you agree to any eye surgery. I learned that the hard way at this eye care facility. I'm sure they will do everything they can to have this review deleted. May they ask our lord savior for my forgiveness, and may our lord savior always be with you.

One more thing about these people. If you post anything negative about them on their facebook page, it will be deleted ASAP even if it's the truth. They only allow good comments from their point of view on their facebook page. That's why they have an almost 5 star rating on their facebook page. It's better for keeping their credibility intact along with their bottom line when it comes to all the non-essential elective eye surgeries they perform on people.

The wait time is horrendous!!! At the last appointment, we waiting 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment to even be seen. Then we were left in the exam room for 40 minutes waiting for the doctor. I thought, "OK - late in the day. This may be an exception." Well, it's not. I arrived at today's appointment then sat and waited for 30 minutes to even be seen. After 20 minutes I began to get antsy. I started talking to everyone around me. I found all the same story. Each person told me this office is very bad for keeping you waiting. A 30 minute wait is the norm. When I questioned the receptionist as to when we would be seen, she mentioned that it's standard to figure 1.5-2 hours for an appointment. There was no remorse for keeping any of us waiting. I had to use 3 hours vacation time for this appointment even though their office is only 15 minutes away from my work. Neither my doctor office, dentist, nor orthopedic specialist is this BAD!!! This is unacceptable!!!

I had my LASIK surgery done here and was incredibly impressed by the staff, the doctors, the process and the outcome. Dr. Snyder is extremely intelligent and i have all the trust in the world in him. If you are considering LASIK i would not hesitate for a second to recommend Holland Eye Surgery and Laser Center and Dr. Snyder
