Provided by YP.comMary helped me choose fabric for my master bedroom bedding. I had an idea of what I wanted for the main fabric, but no idea of what I wanted for the matching fabrics. She selected fabrics that I would never have chosen, but they all look wonderful. It is a great look that I would not have been able to pull together without her help.

Provided by YP.comMary did a wonderful job with our house! We started with a few small pillows, I fell in love her quality work and design eye... She ended up making us custom bedding, curtains, make new cushions for some of our older furniture, and a few more pillows! I appreciate the time you spent getting to know me and what I wanted as a customer. It was nice to be able to have blinds and window treatments done by the same team! Thanks for making our house feel like a home!

Provided by YP.comMary LaBarge has done many jobs for my clients over the last 10+ years. She has an eye for detail and does a wonderful job creating whatever I have designed for my clients. She is creative and has made beautiful custom bedding, window treatments, cushions, and pillows for both formal and fun cottage environments. I have not found another seamstress that has the talent and patience that she brings to the job. She is truly an expert in her field!

Mary,
We had holes in our wall in the living room where you or your worker drilled them in the wrong place. They stuck out like a sore thumb and looked terrible. I hired Brian to fix them and thought geez louise what professional would charge what you did and do this, and not tell the customer? Then I thought, oh well crap like that happens to the best of us.
But now I'm removing my drapes for the winter due to remodeling dust that will occur in the kitchen and noticed you did the same darn thing on the wall in the bar!!
Please tell me, you did this why? Why didn't you mention something to me the customer who paid you bucko bucks for your services?
This letter was written within a day of receiving the complaint from Jolee and I have not heard from her after sending. Dear Jolee, I can tell by the tone of your email that you are very upset and I am sorry that you are. It is never my intention to have a customer upset with me. I would like to know what I can do to make amends. The plumbing pipes that were used as drapery hardware, although they added a unique design element to the room, were very difficult to install. I was not aware of exactly what type of hardware was going to be used for the drapery until I arrived at your home. I have worked with designers for 25 years and have not had this unique problem before. I have actually, because of this installation, changed the way I work. If I do not supply the hardware(as in this case) it must be delivered to me before installation so that I will be able to tell if it will work or what it will need to work. Those pipes and 'brackets' were very heavy and pulled the regular anchors out of the walls. We had to drill some new holes for different anchors to be used and I thought that all of the other holes were covered by the 'brackets' and not visible. I am truly sorry that you are unhappy and would like to know what I can do to make you a satisfied customer. Sincerely, Mary LaBarge

She has a great eye for design & detail, and was very practical and helpful... offering constructive suggestions for a reasonable price. I absolutely love my blinds, drapery, and design work that she performed. I never could have done this project without Mary's dedication and artful design. Compliments are numerous thanks to her assistance. I definitely plan to use her for another project soon, and recommend her work to anyone looking for a designer and/or drapery/blind assistance.

She was a great listener and was able to take our concepts and add her own to truly complete our home tastefully. She is very quality conscious and detail oriented. Provided by YP.comMary was very helpful in finding fabric to recover the furniture in our morning room. She then did a beautiful job recovering it - matching patterns and stripes in the fabric. Counseled us to add batting on some for better wear/finish.

Provided by YP.comMary has a great eye for design and detail. Not only did she fashion beautiful valences to coordinate with bedding I owned, but she also did a beautiful padded headboard, dust ruffle and shades for the windows. Price point excellent, finished product beautiful!!
