I have worked with Brennan and Debbie for probably 15-18 years at least. My son is multiply handicapped and uses a custom wheelchair. He is 31 and lives in a group home. Over this time frame they have been able to get us in at a moment's notice due to the urgency of not having another chair available. Even when we had another chair as a backup and the urgency was not there, National Seating and Mobility did their best to fix whatever was broken or order in a replacement. Has it ALWAYS been perfect? No. But every business has their ups and downs. Give these folks a chance. They DO really care about people and in particular - people who are handicapped and need their equipment. I would not take my son anywhere else. By the way - we live in Fremont, Ohio and it is about a 40 min drive one way for us to National Seating in Holland....and I STILL would not go anywhere else. Thank you to Brennan, Debbie and the others there that try to accommodate so many people with so many different issues. You can't fault them for that!

I have also found this company to be very frustrating to work with. I have a power wheelchair that needs parts periodically. The last time I needed a new battery, it took over 4 months for the battery to come in. They kept telling me that my doctor was not signing the order. However, when I contacted my doctor, he told me that he had not received anything.

We recently moved to the area from another state. In the past, when my wheelchair needed to be repaired, a loaner chair was available for my use. National Seating does not provide this service. Why? If I am in a power wheelchair and it is broken, how am I supposed to get around?

I am horrified about how this company has handled themselves. A year ago my father was diagnosed with ALS and Brennan sold my parents a mobility chair. He told them their insurance would cover the chair completely. When the chair finally came it was not functioning properly, they came out to look at it and took the seat and some other parts to fix, after months of a brand new unusable chair my father finally passed away before they even fixed it. Now my mother is trying to get the parts back as she will be needing to use the chair herself soon. National Seating & Mobility is refusing to fix the chair or even bring the parts back and now a year later are stating that the insurance didn't cover the chair completely. My mother has just had the worst year of her life and a company that was supposed to help in this time has done nothing but cause stress and false promises. This companies practices are not ethical. I urge everyone to go elsewhere.
