Dear Mr. Papier (owner of TAS Electronics),

I will be telling everyone I come in contact with, to shop elsewhere. Your salespersons and manager ripped me off; and of all times, at Christmas! You (your sales reps) never told me of your return policy! We actually conducted business at the end of your counter where there were no postings of your lame return policy. I bought a gift for my son, which he did not want. Upon trying to return it, we were only offered store credit, which we did not want. Because of your poor business practice and unwillingness to work with people, we are stuck with your merchandise and the installation fee we paid for! I don't know how you guys sleep at night! You also charged me $56 more than the retail price of your products! I ran a bar code application and your prices were discriminatory! I am telling everyone I know not to shop at TAS, especially the McCord location! You are the worst business people I have ever encountered!

The front door speakers sound pretty good, for the money that I spent. If it weren't for the extremely poor customer service that I received from Dave, the general manager, I would go back to replace my rear speakers. He was so rude and dismissive of my concerns, however, that I would never go back to this store or any other TAS store. Back to Car Stereo One, I guess. Work on your customer service skills Dave and maybe read up on the subject of "up sell."

Follow up after taking off my door panel this weekend to see what the installer did - no wonder I lost all low frequency response seeing how the installer installed these speakers. So, yes, Dave General Manager, I do have reason to believe that your staff will do as poor a job on the installation as you did with customer service.

I would not recommend going to this store based on my experience.

We shopped around (by phone) and found that TAS was about the same price as everywhere else in town for my grandfather's make/model, plus their store was near his house so we decided to go with them. They quoted $220 installed over the phone. A few days later, we show up to buy it and they say it is going to be $250 because they forgot to an some converter. Well, we were already there, and even though they were not the cheapest now, we decided to still use TAS. Two weeks later, we show up with my grandpa's car to get it installed and everything seems to be going fine. They give us a call 2 hours later and we show up to get the keys. They said they had good news and bad news... the bad news is they have to charge us an extra $25 because they had to use a different piece (I forget the name) to make the installation work. The good news is they talked to the manager and they would give the part to use for $25 when it is supposed to be a $40 part. What are we supposed to say... take it out and give us our money back??? It's a 2009 Honda Accord... not a foreign/exotic car... how can you not get this right?

Long story short, we went from $220 installed to $275 and every person seemed to be lying/pinching us for money. We will NOT go back there and we have already guided multiple people away from TAS.

Good job, TAS. You took at extra $55 from us and to date have probably lost out on $500+ worth of business by word of mouth.

Do NOT go to TAS.

I recently had a horrible experience with tas electronics.
My stereo malfunctioned and was sent in for repair. It was reinstalled and I was told it was complete. When I tried the video in the back seat I discovered it was not hooked up. I had to return to have it repaired. I was told it was done correct now. Next I tried the XM satellite. It didn't work. I returned to have it fixed. Next I tried to use the accessory cable. It didn't work. Once again I returned to have it corrected. They said it was complete.I tried it in the parking lot and it still didn't work. I was told by Dave the radio had to be removed to fix the cable but I would have to come back another day as they were too busy. Wow. In not returning I'll just deal with the cable not working. Never going back. Thanks alot Big Dave

Next day appointments. Car was finished ahead of schedule. And who doesn't love a car starter?! Ask for Dave, he is AWESOME!!!

This Tas corrected previous issues on my car caused by another Tas store while also giving me perfect advice & great products! Thanks!

They just tinted my windows took them less then a hour great work also have been my go to place for all my subs an amps never had a issue from anyone who worked there in over 8 years unlike car retarts one who fried a computer in my cobra an said it was like that when I brought it there so yea tas is the best in toledo area

TAS ELECTRONICS did a fantastic job on installing my remote car starter and heated seats!!! I received these items as a gift for the holidays...I was skeptical to stop in as I've never been here before. I was impressed with the store on S. McCord its new, big and very inviting, the staff treated me well, the salesman was very helpful and my products were installed that day!!! I was astonished at the selection of products available for a vehicle, from navigations, tv's, radios, speakers the list goes on.

I HIGHLY recommend these professionals to anyone who is in the market for upgrading their car!!!

Took my new car to them and had ordered the amps and head end unit on line. They did a fantastic job! And the price was very reasonable.

I knew, I just KNEW I should have gotten the car alarm when I bought my new car, but I was already spending so much on the car that I did not think I would really need it. I could not have been more wrong. The day after I bought the car, someone broke in one of the windows and stole my ipod out of the center council. The next day I came right to TAS to have an alarm put on my car.

I just got some heated seats put into my car, and it is wonderful. Best decision I have ever made.

Great service. They were fast and very nice. They really knew a lot about the products and were able to explain everything well.
