This place was horrible to us. I wanted to add a fur baby to our family and we went into the facility to adopt a Shih Tzu that was posted on the website. Drogo was surrendered because he bit a one-year old child previously. I thought we would give it a try because we have no children. we have two Bernese Mountain dogs and a Persian cat. The dog was aggressive as it settled into our home. He was adorable 80 percent of the time. He bit my cat in the face. I made the choice to surrender him but also spoke with an animal behavior specialist about his aggression and he agreed that the dog was aggressive. Pam Eberhart was extremely rude to me and hung up on me. I called her back and she said she did not. yes, she did. Unprofessional. I was required to give a 225-dollar donation. A offered to make a donation but wanted some of my money returned. In all fairness, the dog bit my cat in the face or I would have kept him. This place blocks you from leaving a review and deletes honest comments to skew there rating. I was willing to adopt a dog that fit my family and was safe for my pets. Pam Eberhart made a phone call to the owner of the dog, but she called me by mistake belittling us. I hung up and my fiancée called her and left a message saying she was talking to me. This is very unprofessional and hurtful. This woman needs to learn how to deal with the public. Sometimes a dog does not work out. We are good people, but this place will post negativity about people if a dog needs to be returned. I was willing to donate but not the 225 dollars and she wouldn't even let me look at another dog she was standoffish and again unprofessional. This facility claims to be all about animals but seriously they just pump out dogs to the public that they really know nothing about and in this instance, my cat got bitten. No concern for my animals was expressed at all. Shame on you Pam Eberhart for having any to do with animals or people. You really need to understand how to work with the public. I believe they robbed me of my money because an alternate /suitable dog was not offered. It was stated to me that if the dog was aggressive I could return him. That is a bold face lie. Shame on her for this.
