Provided by YP.comRiver Rock is our new favorite place within the Clarkston area. We love the atmosphere
and the friendly service, but more importantly the food is awesome. Give it a try!!!

Provided by SuperpagesCalamari just frozen fried strips. Nachos had almost no meat & the tortillas were grease soaked. Onion rings were also grease soaked, hamburger was dried out. Worst restaurant I'd been to in a long time.

Provided by YP.comWent on memorial day for burger's with the couple we golfed with that day, this was not our first visit. I told them how good their burgers were...well they served 3 of the 4 of us our meals and made one of our party wait for her burger. I ordered the bleu cheese burger (which I've had before and loved) when it came there was bareley any cheese on it and when I complained was offered a side of cheese....when they finally brought my friend her burger it looked like a kiddy burger or slider, we asked the waitress what it was and if it looked like a regular burger to her she answered no but she was told to bring it out anyway. And my burger which I ordered medium, was beyond well done. Obviously the cooks don't care about their customers or servers.

Provided by YP.comSave your time and money and go to Joe Bologna's or Kruse and Muer, or even Big Boy. The salad consisted of about ten leaves of lettuce if that and dressing. When we saw the lack of selection and price of entrees, we said, "They don't have much, so they must be really good at what they do make"... No. To top it off, the older man with an accent, who I assume is the owner was actually snapping his fingers and pointing at things telling the girls what to do.
To sum it up, this restaurant is pretty to look at, but over-priced, has a very limited menu, the staff seems to be treated like slaves, and the food isn't very good at all. They DO have a decent selection of beers, if that's the only thing you're looking for, but so do most bars.

Provided by SuperpagesFirst time at this restaurant last night. My son & I both had the mushroom Swiss burger. The bottom bun was soaked with burger juice and slimy and the burger had zero flavor. Neither of us could finish. The fries were very salty, too. If you go, don't get a glass of wine...I think there might have been 5 oz. in my $7.50 glass of merlot! :(. Only good thing was that we had a great waitress. Not sure we'll be back.

Provided by YP.comWe went to River Rock on a Saturday night. The wait was a normal amount. The food was outstanding. Reasonable pricing on food and drinks. Big selection on beer, wine and drinks. Both I and my husband enjoyed our evening out. Will be going back at LOT!!!!!!!!

Provided by YP.comDon't bother. Went for dinner, 20-25 minute wait was expected to seat 3, went to sit in bar, 10 minutes later we were "buzzed" and the hostess tells my husband "oops, that was a mistake", then 5 minutes later, signaled again only to have the hostess try to seat us in front of the entrance door, told hostess we would try again for another table. Watched as 2 other tables were seated by guests that arrived after us (35 minutes after we arrived). Asked to speak to a manager and as the manager and hostess were being told that we had a complaint, the hostess, made rather rude facial expressions in a mocking sort of way, very unprofessional. The manager that approached us was at the hostess stand when the other 2 interactions happened and by her expressions we could sense immediately that she really didn't care. On the way out I recommended to the hostess that she remain tactful when it comes to dealing with customers with complaints and she tried arguing the point with me. Won't be going back again and I would not recommend this place. Ended up going to Blackthorn Pub in Holly, AWESOME!

Provided by SuperpagesStopped for dinner, service is terrible at best. The staff are not properly trained in customer service or responding to the customers needs. The management is non existent and just as incompetent , they ignore the customers as well. I'm not sure who the cooks are , but cooking lessons wouldn't hurt before they lose all their clientele . I highly recommend stay clear of this restaurant as the service and food both are HORRIABLE.

Provided by SuperpagesStopped for dinner, 45 minutes after placing our order the hamburger and two chicken wrap dinners showed up. The burger came with no bun top, burned to a crisp on the outside and frozen and raw in the middle. One chicken wrap dinner came in a tomato basil wrap with a side of ranch, the second came in a Flour wrap with a pickle. When the hamburger bun showed up it was a pretzel bun, not worth the thought Of mentioning. I'm not urge who did the cooking but he burger and chicken wraps tasted terrible. My advice is drink heavily before you eat the food that way you won't notice the terrible taste as well as the poor service.
