Located in Holly Pond, Ala., Holly Pond High School offers academic education in a variety of subjects, such as science, mathematics, special education, music, history, computers, business technology, Spanish, economics, biology, and physical and special education. It offers educational classes to more than 500 students in grades 7 through 12. The school has a staff of nearly 40 full-time certified teachers and also operates a parent-teacher organization. It has a library media center that offers a range of dictionaries, encyclopedias, maps, magazines, portals, biographies, archives and access to more than 70,000 education-related sites as additional resources for students. The school maintains various musical and theatrical bands that organize competitions, including Mud Creek Band, Perfect Season, Covered Bridge Marching Festival and Mid South Band. Holly Pond High School is a part of Cullman County Board of Education and operates a guidance and counseling department.
