The New School Montessori Center, established in 1984, is a private, accredited, nonprofit, nonsectarian institute that serves children from six weeks through eighth grade. The school serves children from Holly Springs, Apex and Raleigh in North Carolina. It offers instruction in sign language, Spanish, yoga, piano, music and physical education. The New School Montessori Center also administers a before- and after-school program that manages art and chess clubs. The school provides classes in mathematics, language arts, science and geography. In addition, it encourages parents to participate in their child s education. The New School Montessori Center administers the El Nido program.
