Founded in 2005, Southern Wake Montessori School is a collaborative, nonprofit community for children, their families and teachers. The school provides half- and full-day programs for infants, toddlers and children of up to age six. It also conducts theme-based summer camps. Southern Wake Montessori School additionally administers before and after school programs. The school academic curriculum includes language math, science, history, humanities, visual arts, music and physical education. It also conducts instructive classes in civics, economics and social development. Southern Wake Montessori School is affiliated with the American Montessori Society. Its staff is certified by the Association Montessori International. The school is located in Holly Springs, N.C.
