Wonderful Doctor and wonderful staff. Caring, concerned, everything a real Doctor should be.

After visiting several doctors over the past 2 years for a reoccurring pain I felt that it was just something I would have to deal with. I visited Dr. Patel based on the referral of a friend and within minutes he figured out the problem that for two years I have been told to just try not to think about. When I entered the office I was greeted by the friendly staff. I was promptly taken into an examination room and then had a x-ray. The in-house x-ray service was so convenient. Dr. Patel came into the room and spoke to me in the calmest comforting tone totally unlike any doctor I have ever visited. Not only was the visit extremely helpful but it was amazing to see that a doctor and staff could be so helpful and pleasant.

I went to Tricity to get school physicals for my two sons, this clinic put the insurance in as 'Urgent Care'! That requires a large deductible on my insurance and they also charge special fees under the urgent care rate - higher office visit etc. When I called to straighten this out, the office manager provided no help and would not followup with insurance to fix this matter - costing me over a hundred dollars! This is at least aweful service, and perhaps even insurance fraud. They agreed to drop the charge after I called and threatened to open an investigation with my insurance company but I just got a collections bill for the balance after all these months. DON'T GO THERE. go to a physician that cares about you and your kids and aren't trying to make a fast buck at your expense!

Oh my.. After they saw my review(s), they went and pulled two other invoices that they had on my sons (they had agreed to submit as normal office visit rather than 'urgent care') and submitted them to collections. I paid immediately to get them off my back ($212 because 'urgent care' on my insurance carries a BIG deductible). This clinic is CRAZY... I can't believe they would do a retaliatory move like that on a patient. I really recommend anyone interested in medical services to go to Holly Springs Medical Group (ran by WakeMed hospitals) over on Holly Springs Rd. I'm sorry, but a school physical is NEVER 'urgent care' and this screws families trying to take care of their kids' medical needs.
