Terrible customer service. We were trying to cancel our flood policy and they needed all kinds of letters including one from our mortgage company. I spoke with our mortgage company and they gave us a different story: instructing us that it was our policy and we can cancel it at any time. Luckily, I had my customer service agent at the mortgage company write me a letter, as requested. I sent the information to Accredited, and they said the process takes 6-8 weeks to process. I called the insurance company directly 3 weeks later, and they had no knowledge of the request. They told me that they will have it done in 48 hours. I don't know it this is due to Accredited's laziness, or deliberately delaying the process for financial gain. Either way, beware of this agency.
