I've only had Giant for residential for a maybe a week or so. I needed modification of equipment in settings. I called for tech support and was told he's out sick. He. One person.

I called back and was told he's still out, the following day.

I call again. I was advised that I'd need to leave my number and he'd call me back when he could. Days later, still no call back.

I call again. I get told he's on another call. I agree to be put on hold. I wait. I then get told he's going to have to call me back. I won't be holding my breath.

I'm so glad this company isn't contractual. After spending nearly $200.00 do set everything up in total, I feel like I've picked the lesser of two evils regarding possible ISP choices in my area. It's still unfortunately evil.

I bought my equipment. I'll gladly take it some place else if I get the chance. Any place is worth a try over CenturyLink, but seriously...think long and hard about switching to Giant. Don't expect timely and reasonable service.

Every time we ever have a problem with our services (mainly internet) the tech or customer service person on the phone blames us for the issue(wrong router, plugged in incorrectly, etc.).We own a industrial wireless router that can hold up to 18 devices and cover a house/building 3x the size of our home, but it is still us that is the issue. We pay for a certain speed and we only get half the speed we pay for. We understand the speed of the internet will never be a constant 20 but when you are only getting 7-11 that is unacceptable. When they finally figure out that it is their problem/fault on their end they are very snarky about being wrong because in their mind "Giant Communications is always right". If you want to feel belittled and told you are wrong and it is your fault your services aren't working this is the company for you. The first chance we have to go with another cable company we will run and run as fast as we can!
