Janet and Donna (the "JD" of JD Medical Billing) are unprofessional to a level not before witnessed in my many years of business dealings. They can be best described as "verbal bullies" and employ verbal intimidation tactics to have the patient succumb to paying doctor's bills. They use these tactics not only on patients and their advocates but also on insurance company representatives. The most poignant cases are:
--refusal to re-submit claims although the insurance company representative has specifically requested them to do so
--hanging up on 3-way call with the patient advocate and insurance company when next steps in an arduous process were being discussed
--calls to the patient demanding immediate charge card payment via phone although the patient has been dealing with JD only through a patient advocate
Beware and rethink using a doctor's medical service if JD Medical Billing is responsible for that doctor's patient billing!
