Provided by YP.comI got crotchet braids done here few weeks ago and they look extremely beautiful. I have got many appreciation from my friends and family. With Dede and their team of experts, I had a wonderful experience! They are extremely skilled in natural hair care and styling. I will definitely recommend this place to each and every person. Though time can be a little issue with them, however, whatever they do feels magical. Next time I'm going to try Invisible Braids for sure.

Provided by YP.comI am satisfied with the services of Dede’s African Hair Braiding. Their professionals have given me a new look and style. It is going to be my 7th visit to Dede’s. This time I will be buying French braids. Last time I visited the place at around 7.30am to buy African braid. The people were really cordial. A beautiful lady showed up and helped me to select from the wide range of African braids. And the best part was I got it at a very reasonable price. This is why I have decided to visit Dede’s again for my next purchase. yo dede :)

Provided by YP.comThe braiders of Dede are very polite and friendly and I think their saloon is best for kids. Whenever I took my daughter there, they welcome me warmly. Sometimes I have to wait but their work is very neat and beautiful. My daughter has never complained. It just took three hours to complete her braiding. I recommend this salon to everyone who wants beautiful braiding.

Provided by YP.comOne weekend when I was frustrated about my hair, I found Dede’s hair braiding salon and they took me without an appointment. They just braided my lengthy hair for such a reasonable price. The atmosphere of the salon is very warm. People are amazing and make you feel like you are in home. The salon was full that made me feel about its popularity among the customers. I will definitely be returning.

Provided by YP.comMy daughter wanted her hair to be braided. We decided to go to Dede’s. I had an appointment at 6. I took my daughter along with me and in 5 hours we were done. She has a lot of hair so 5 hours seems to be quite fast. Everyone there is very nice and the location is convenient for me. I would love to come back again.

Provided by YP.comI scheduled an appointment a week in advance for Box Braids and still was unable to get my hair done until later on the evening scheduled- they gave me a discount which I appreciated. The scheduling sucks, but the braiding is very good. I still receive compliments even after having them in for weeks. I will return but know to arrive first, when they open the doors.

I wish that I could give this place a negative star! They "baited and switched" me. They told me that they could do box braids on my daughter for $160 in about 4-5 hours (and I provided a picture of the style that I wanted and specifically told them NOT to make the braids too small). Seven hours later, she had microbraids that were so tight that I had to give her Tylenol for the pain. Her style looked NOTHING like the picture. In hindsight, I think all that they can do are microbraids. The place is decorated nicely but lacks cleanliness (by the end of the day hair was everywhere). They are also unprofessional with zero customer skills. One stylist alternated between braiding and caring for her two month old. You can only imagine how well that went! STAY AWAY!!!

Very disappointed!! First off let me just say that the woman that was scheduled to do my hair was late and no one informed me she was going to be late I walked out and the owner chased after me and said her sister was right down the street. Before I walked out I was waiting for 30 minutes!!! 30 whole minutes!!! This place is very, very, very unprofessional!!!! I only got a $10 discount for her tardiness. The bathroom is disguisting and the woman brought her newborn baby to work with her, she had to constantly keep stopping because she had to attend to her baby!!!! Do not go here this place is a waste of money and time!!!

Please read this before you patronize this terrible, unprofessional “braiding salon”, and I use that term loosely. I made the unfortunate mistake of going in to have my hair braided. The owner proceeded to put braids in my hair, leaving my own hair unbraided and loose. She was too lazy to braid my own hair all the way to the end of each braid, so she just left it loose. She then told me to only come back to her to have the braids taken down when the time came. I am sure you can imagine what this does to one’s hair. As you are unable to actually comb your own hair due to the braids, it simply becomes matted and starts to break. This place should be put out of business. They take your money and in return you get appalling service. To say they are unprofessional is putting it mildly. They are incompetent, ignorant, slovenly, and most of all….they are rip-off artists.

By far the worst hair braiding experience of my life! I have had my hair braided at least 25 times in the past 8 years and I have never been treated so badly. Dede+s uses a very cheap brand of hair and no glue to seal the braids from coming undone. The shop was dirty including the restroom. One of the women braiding my hair actually stopped and took a nap during the process. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. They actually wanted me to slump down in the chair and hold my head at an uncomfortable angle so that she would not have to stand to braid the top of my hair. With two people braiding and with all of the braids in the center being doubled up (sections of hair used for one braid should have been two braids or more) it still took them 11 hours. They also increased the price $40.00. I was given a quote over the phone of $170.00 when I got there they asked for $210.00. Do not waste you time going here!
