I made an appointment to get my annual eye exam and to get setup for contacts. The doctor went through with the exam, which was fine. Then, I go back out in the waiting where the receptionist tells me that I will have to make another appointment for a contact fitting??? Which will cost and additional $70 dollars!! I ask why because I have NEVER had to do that with my insurance, for which she says that the policies have changed and a contact fitting is required. That was two weeks ago and no one has contacted me. Called another eye office and was informed that the eye exam and contact fitting done at the same time is part of my insurance policy and would be covered if it was done on the same day. The receptionist obviously doesn't know about insurance policies or they are trying to rip off unknowing customers! Either way I will not be back to that office.
